The future of medicine
Expanding possibilities for surgeons
Founded in 2025 as a venture from Osaka University
Endoluminal Solutions Inc.
We are developing the world's first specialized disposable endoscope (gastroscope) for gastric cancer screening, which will solve the structural issues of gastric cancer screening.
He has 30 years of experience as a surgeon and 20 years as a medical device developer.
Founder and representative director Seiichi Nakajima (Professor at Osaka University), with experience in joint development with a total of 50 companies, the launch of 30 products, and the filing of over 160 patent applications, has taken on this revolutionary theme. With practical solutions that meet the true needs of medical professionals, we will fundamentally transform Japan's cancer screening system for the first time in half a century.

Changing traditional screening
Currently, tens of millions of people undergo stomach cancer screening every year, but for over half a century barium tests have been the mainstream method.
However, barium tests have a low accuracy rate for detecting cancer, involve high levels of X-ray exposure, and there are also risks such as intestinal blockage and falls caused by barium.
On the other hand, while endoscopic examinations are expected to have high detection accuracy, there are no endoscopes specifically designed for screening, and currently, expensive and difficult-to-operate endoscopes developed for detailed examinations and treatments must be used. These are large in size and require time-consuming cleaning, disinfection, and drying, making them unsuitable for large-scale screening.
The disposable endoscope (gastroscope) specialized for medical examinations that we are developing is the world's first endoscope optimized for the performance required for medical examinations.
With the world's thinnest diameter of just 4mm, the fully disposable design eliminates pain, risk of infection, and downtime, enabling efficient large-scale screening.
Together with an AI diagnostic support system specialized for screening, it will increase the rate of early detection of stomach cancer and contribute to reducing medical costs.
