医療機器業界において約17年にわたり経験を積み、グローバル医療機器メーカーおよび手術支援ロボット開発ベンチャーにて、マーケティング、事業開発、営業戦略立案、国内外アライアンス構築など幅広い業務に従事。日本国内のみならず、海外市場を見据えた製品展開やパートナーシップ構築にも携わり、医療機器の社会実装に向けた事業推進を経験してきた。
これまで複数の医療機器プロジェクトにおいて、研究・開発の初期段階から事業戦略の立案、販売体制構築、海外拠点立ち上げ、上市後の事業拡大までを一貫して担当。医療現場の課題を捉えながら、医師・大学・企業・行政など多様なステークホルダーとの連携を推進し、実用化と事業化の両面を牽引してきた。
創業代表である中島氏が掲げる「胃がん死亡ゼロ社会の実現」という理念に深く共感し、胃がん検診の課題解決と医療アクセス向上を目指して当社を共同創業。ディスポーザブル内視鏡を核とした新たな検診インフラの実現に向け、事業開発およびグローバル展開を推進している。

After starting his training at the First Department of Surgery at Osaka University Hospital, he completed his doctoral studies at the same university in 2003 (Doctor of Medicine). After that, he continued his studies both in Japan and overseas, including at the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Osaka University, the Department of Transplant Surgery at the University of Bologna in Italy, and the Department of Transplant Surgery at King's College London in the UK, and after working at Kinki University Nara Hospital, he has been working at Yao Tokushukai General Hospital since 2012. In 2021, he was appointed Vice Director of the hospital.
He has been involved in medical care in remote islands and remote areas for many years, and has faced the issue of regional disparities in medical access. Utilizing this experience, he co-founded the company with the aim of realizing a society in which everyone can receive equal, high-quality stomach cancer screening, regardless of their place of residence.

After researching the LIGA process using synchrotron radiation at Ritsumeikan University, he joined Yamashina Seiki Co., Ltd. and worked on the design and development of dedicated machine tools.
Developed machines to cut metal parts for automobiles and industrial machinery.
After that, he promoted medical device development in collaboration with universities in the fields of medicine and engineering, and was involved in the development of minimally invasive treatment tools such as endoscopic tools and robot-assisted surgery tools.
In the process of starting up a medical device business from scratch, he gained experience in everything from manufacturing centered on product design as an engineer to team building as a manager and company transformation as a director.
At our company, we not only design the hardware ourselves, but also manage the entire system development.

He has been involved in the operation of the central operating room at Shinseikai General Hospital and Yao Tokushukai General Hospital for 20 years. With a perspective rooted in clinical practice, he has strengths in systematizing hospital management and building structures, and is working to realize an efficient and sustainable medical field that combines medical care and digital technology.
Utilizing his experience to date, he is acting as a bridge between technology and medical care to increase the effectiveness and reproducibility of the project.
