Endoluminal Solutions Inc.

Representative Director,
CEO & Co-founder

With approximately 17 years of experience in the medical device industry, they have engaged in a wide range of activities—including marketing, business development, sales strategy formulation, and the establishment of domestic and international alliances—at both global medical device manufacturers and surgical robot development ventures. Their expertise spans business promotion aimed at the social implementation of medical devices, with a proven track record in product deployment and partnership building tailored for both the Japanese and overseas markets.

Throughout multiple medical device projects, they have consistently managed the entire lifecycle from the early stages of R&D to business strategy formulation, sales infrastructure building, overseas office establishment, and post-launch business expansion. By identifying critical clinical needs, they have driven collaboration among diverse stakeholders—including physicians, universities, corporations, and government agencies—leading both practical application and commercialization.

Deeply resonating with the vision of “Achieving a Society with Zero Gastric Cancer Deaths” championed by Founding CEO Mr. Nakajima, they co-founded the company to address challenges in gastric cancer screening and improve healthcare access. They are currently driving business development and global expansion to establish a new screening infrastructure centered around disposable endoscopes.

Endoluminal Solutions Inc.

Director

After starting his residency at the First Department of Surgery, Osaka University Hospital, he completed his doctoral course at the same university’s graduate school in 2003 (Doctor of Medicine). He furthered his expertise at Osaka University Department of Pediatric Surgery, the Department of Transplant Surgery at the University of Bologna (Italy), and King’s College London (UK). After working at Kindai University Nara Hospital, he joined Yao Tokushukai General Hospital in 2012 and was appointed Vice Director in 2021. Having been involved in medical care for remote islands and rural areas for many years, he has faced the challenge of regional disparities in medical access. Leveraging this experience, he co-founded the company to realize a society where everyone can receive equally high-quality gastric cancer screenings regardless of where they live.

Head of
Mechanical Designer

Over the past 20 years, I have been engaged in the mechanical design of a diverse range of products, including AV equipment, cameras, automotive devices, refrigerators, and medical devices, focusing primarily on major electronics manufacturers. Centered on enclosure and structural design, my experience spans the entire manufacturing process—from conceptual design, detailed design, prototyping, and evaluation to mold trial and mass production ramp-up. I pride myself on hands-on manufacturing that goes beyond desktop design.

My international experience includes launching a design center in China, as well as handling engineering and procurement at production plants in China and Southeast Asia. In these roles, I actively drove cost reduction, negotiated with local suppliers, reviewed drawings, and conducted mold alignment meetings.

My core strength lies not only in bringing products to life but also in refining them to meet mass-production quality standards. Currently, I am leveraging my extensive background in mechanical design, overseas production, and mass production ramp-up to design the mechanisms for medical screening endoscopes, striving to develop products with higher quality and reliability.
