What we aim for
Endoluminal Solutions Inc. is a venture company spun out of Osaka University, whose founder and representative is Seiichi Nakajima, who has 30 years of experience as a surgeon and 20 years of experience in medical device development.
Based on the track record of bringing 28 products to market through university research and development and filing over 160 patent applications, we started our own company to take on innovative themes with high risks that universities cannot tackle. The specialized disposable endoscope (gastroscope) we are developing will enable a shift from barium tests, which have been used for over 50 years, to endoscopic examinations, making stomach cancer screening, which is currently performed by 24 million people in Japan, safer and more efficient.
Based on the idea behind our company name, "creating solutions from the inside of organs (endoluminal)," our mission is to transform Japanese healthcare from within by responding to the true needs of the medical field and providing practical solutions. We will then expand this Japanese innovation to the world and contribute to improving the quality of healthcare globally.
