On July 1, 2026, endoluminal solutions, Inc. held a press conference at The University of Osaka to present our disposable endoscope designed specifically for gastric cancer screening.
At the press conference, we announced the development of an ultra-slim 4.2 mm gastric endoscope for screening and confirmed fundamental performance required for screening, including image quality and operability. We also announced our development target of submitting an application for marketing approval in 2028.
The product is being developed to reduce the burden on examinees and improve the efficiency of gastric cancer screening.
The press conference was covered by several media organizations, including NHK, and featured on NHK’s national television news and NHK NEWS WEB.
We will continue to develop medical devices that contribute to wider access to gastric cancer screening and the early detection and treatment of gastric cancer.
