On April 18, 2026, endoluminal solutions, Inc. conducted evaluation testing of our endoscope prototype at the Kobe Medical Device Development Center.
The primary focus of this evaluation was further reducing the diameter of the endoscope. Using a prototype with a slimmer design than previous models, we conducted comprehensive evaluations of insertion performance, operability, and visibility, with particular attention to the effects of miniaturization on mechanical characteristics and image quality.
The evaluation confirmed improvements in several areas while also identifying new technical challenges that must be addressed for practical clinical use.
Based on these findings, we will continue to refine our design and development process and advance prototype improvements toward the practical application of an ultra-slim endoscope that contributes to more efficient screening and reduced burden on examinees.
